Hard Reset ASUS Memo Pad

First method:

  1. In order to turn on the tablet hold down the Power key for a short while.Hard Reset ASUS Memo Pad

  3. Release held keys when an Android Icon appears on the screen.
  4. In order to enter the Recovery Mode press and hold the Volume Up for a couple of seconds.

  6. Then use the Volume Down to highlight "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Power button to confirm.Format ASUS Memo Pad
  7. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume buttons to scroll and Power key to select.
  8. Now the device is erasing all personal data and customizded settings.

Second method:

  1. Start by downloading the “cleardata.zip”. You can get it from support.asus.com (e.g.  Asus clear zip )
  2. You should unzip this file to your MicroSD card.

  4. Insert the memory card to your device.

  6. Select Clear User Data by using the Volume buttons to navigate and Power key to select.HardReset ASUS Memo Pad
  7. When “Please remove installation media!” inforamtion appears on the screen remove the microSD card from your device.Factory Reset ASUS Memo Pad
  8. Success! The hard reset has just been performed.

Third method:

  1. If the display is off, press the Power button to turn it back on.Hard Reset ASUS Memo Pad
  2. From the Main Screen choose Settings.
  3. After that select Backup&Reset and tap Factory data reset.
  4. Choose Reset tablet.
  5. Select Erase everything to confirm the whole operation.
  6. Great job!

Hard Reset will erase all of your data
