If you are a bit paranoid or just want to protect your privacy from unwanted viewers, then there is a way to scan for hidden cameras only using your handy mobile device!

How to Scan for Cameras

There are a few methods of detecting hidden cameras, first one involves using your phone's camera, since a lot of cameras emit infrared radiation, which the human eye can't see, your phone's camera may prove itself useful. Simply walk around the room, and point the phone at suspected areas. You should be able to spot blue light coming from the hidden camera.
You can also scan your Wi-Fi to find some cameras or listening devices in your room.

  1. Go to the Settings.
  2. Open Connections. Arrow pointing at the Wi-Fi setting
  3. Then, tap on Wi-Fi.  Arrow pointing at the Wi-Fi section
  4. Now, you can simply move around your room and look for Wi-Fi connections/devices. All Wi-Fi networks are listed here
