With more and more countries thinking about leaving the Daylight Savings Time system, it might be a good idea to know how to manually change your Android phone's date and time, in case anything happens and it doesn't do so itself.

Please remember that the date and time settings of your device might be tied to some of your apps, make sure none of them start crashing after the changes!

How to change your iPhone's Date and Time?

  1. From the home screen, tap on the Settings icon.HardReset your device
  2. Go to the General menu.Factory Reset your device
  3. Tap Date & Time.Master Reset your device
  4. Tap on Set Automatically to turn it off and change these settings manually.Wipe data on your device
  5. Once the automatic date and time is turned off, you can change your time zone. Tap on Time Zone and type in the location of your choosing. Format your device
  6. You will see the date and time appear under the current time zone. Tap on it to open a set of columns.
  7. Drag your finger across columns to change the date and time.Restore your device
