First method:

  1. Hold down the Power button for a few seconds to switch off the device. Remove screen password on BLU R2
  2. After that start pressing Volume Up + Power key together for a few moments. Remove Screen Lock on BLU R2
  3. When Boot Mode appears let go of all buttons. Restore BLU R2
  4. Now select "Recovery" by using Volume Up to scroll down and the Volume Down to confirm that.
  5. When Android Robot appears click Volume Up and Power button once. Remove Screen Lock on BLU R2
  6. In this mode use Volume keys to select "wipe data/factory reset" and click the Power button once. HardReset BLU R2
  7. Now choose "yes" from the menu and confirm with the Power key. Hard Reset BLU R2
  8. When Recovery Mode pops up select "reboot system now" with the Power button. Permanently delete data from BLU R2
  9. Success!
