At the very start, press and hold the Power button, then tap the Power Off option on the screen.
Then press and hold the Power button + Volume Up button together.
When the "No command" screen appears, release both buttons.
Now hold the Power button and press the Volume Up button to continue.
Now the Recovery Menu should appear on the screen. Use the Volume buttons to move through the menu and the Power button to confirm the selections.
Scroll down to Wipe data/Factory data reset and press the Power button to confirm.
Now move down to Yes and press the Power button to confirm. Wait a couple of seconds for the process to complete.
Afterward, select the Reboot system now and press the Power button to continue.
Your device will restart and after a while, you should see the "Welcome" screen.
Excellent job! The hard reset is complete now! You can use this method to restore your phone to default settings or to bypass the pin/pattern lock on your phone.
