1. To initiate the process of Hard reset, hold the Power key and select power off once it appears on the screen.
2. When the device is fully off, hold the Power key and Volume Up together till you see the logo fo the device show up on the screen.
3. You are now in the Recovery mode, from there you will use Volume keys to select Wipe data/factory reset and then power key to confirm the selecting.
