To Hard reset your phone, begin by holding the Power key and selecting Power off.
When the phone shuts off, hold the Power key and Volume Up simultaneously till you see the logo of the device appear on the screen.
You should now be in the Recovery mode. From this mode, you want to select Wipe data/factory reset using Volume keys and confirm the selection with the Power key.
When confronted, affirm the process by selecting Yes the same way as in the step above.
Your device will now start removing all personal data and when it's finished, the Rebootsystem now should now be selected by default. simply tap on the Power key to confirm it.
When the device boots back up, the process will be finished. Nice work!
